Elizabeth Wilson

Appointed by: Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

Elizabeth is an Associate Lecturer in Environmental Planning at Oxford Brookes University and a qualified town planner (MRTPI), with prior local government experience in the Thames Valley. Her research, teaching and publications address issues of planning, environmental assessment, biodiversity and climate change. She is interested in landscape-scale planning, sustainable transport, and the relationship of the Chilterns with its local communities and neighbouring areas.

Elizabeth lives close to the River Thames in Oxford. She is a member of RSPB, the National Trust, and the Town and Country Planning Association.
