Joe Stewart

Joe Stewart is a Bid Writer at a specialist consultancy. He helps companies and charities from a wide range of sectors to tender for contracts with government departments, local authorities, and private clients. Joe has previously worked in the maritime sector as the Assistant Editor of a technical journal, and in children’s publishing.

Sitting on a Board is a new and exciting experience for Joe. He is a strong advocate for protected landscapes and local distinctiveness and is keen to bring a wider range of people to the Chilterns countryside.

Joe is a newcomer to the area, having moved to Reading in 2019. He has delighted in exploring the hills, forests, rivers and streams on his doorstep in the southern Chilterns and is gradually unearthing other areas of this special and diverse landscape.
