Wycombe Museum is a family friendly museum that explores the history of High Wycombe and the surrounding areas, through hands-on galleries.
Wycombe Museum is set within peaceful grounds just minutes from High Wycombe town centre and train station. The site is comprised of a beautiful Grade II listed building with its oldest parts dating from the late 1600s, converted stable block, and spacious gardens with wooded areas.. Known to many as the chair museum, our collection not only spans Wycombe’s furniture-making history, but also includes, art, photography, and many varied artefacts documenting the area’s rich social history. It has an on-site cafe and are surrounded by a big beautiful garden, great for exploring. Wycombe Museum is an independent charity managed by Wycombe Heritage and Arts Trust.
