This circa 4 hour circular walk takes in all the best that the “”Goring Gap”” a section of rolling hillsides either side of The Thames between the villages of Goring & Streatley.
The route starts with a riverside walk following the river downstream and then up into Hartslock Nature Reserve, famed for it’s flora and fauna as well as scenic views of the surrounding countryside. We then head inland in search of woodland, hedgerow and field birds. Around 40 species of bird are normally seen on this route.
An early start but well worth it to appreciate both the nature and the countryside at its best.
