The walk is a circular walk starting at the railway station, walking through the pretty village of Goring On Thames.
From there we will walk along the river, part of the Thames path and if we are lucky we may glimpse a kingfisher or otter before climbing up through a nature reserve with Chiltern wildflowers and wonderful views of the Goring Gap where the Thames breaks through the chalkland. We then continue uphill through trees to open farmland with more views before returning through ancient beech woods to the station.
There will be the opportunity to visit one of the pubs, cafes or the Swan – a Coppa club on the river at the end of the walk.
