This is a longish walk through a range of landscapes with interesting birds and wildflowers as well as some lovely views.

From Pangbourne station we walk along the Thames upstream before heading up into the Chilterns at Hartslock near Goring. There we’ll look at the incredible wildflower grassland on this tiny reserve. We then head east to Path Hill farm where we’ll stop for lunch. At the lunch stop we’ll light our own fire and brew a hot drink, learning how to catch a spark and make a flame. We’ll provide the drinks and sparks but bring your own food.
We’ll then head back down towards the river Thames via Mapledurham and into Reading, ending at Reading station.
